Hi
I am transferring my H1 to a firm on full time basis(not consulting company, product based). Currently I am on a project with A and I am going to transfer my H1 to B (which is 6 yrs old, american based company). I have pay slips from past 4 months, and I was on bench for 2 months where I didnt get my pasylips. For transfer I gave my past 4 months pay slips.
I have 2 questions here.
1) With company A, my LCA was not accurate. My LCA was of NY state & I am working in NJ.
Will this create any issue for my H1 transfer with company B which is VA and they have got the approved LCA.
2) Will there be any issue with my 2 months pay slips (which are of July & Aug). Right now I have submitted my H1 transfer with past 4 months payslips (Sep,Oct, Nov & Dec).
Please advice, I will really appreciate your suggestions on this ASAP.

Since you already have last 4 months pay slips and currently working , I dont see a problem , as long as your future employer can show that they have a legitimate opening and can pay you.

I tried the suggestion solution: convert all the extensions to xps, then use DocumentViewer to display the file. It's quite neat. Short and simple code!

Generally an I-485 applicant can stay abroad till the Advanced Parole remains valid. In your case the best bet is to change the pending I-485 case to consular processing.

My current AP will be expiring this Dec, and my priority date is Jan 2006.
I have a wedding in Canada in January 2011. I would like to know if I need an Advance Parole to Canada then re-enter? Somehow I read somewhere about Canada and Mexico have different requirements.

Visa is required when you have to travel outside US and reenter again.You can get as many extensions as possible by the law.visa stamp is not a problem for your next extension.
Thanks! This is good news. We have been working 24/7 and forgot all about this. I got mine but my wife did not travel at all and never needed the visa. I was worried that it might cause problems.

Try in the early morning hours like 5 - 6 AM EST ....
If any one of your parent can speak English then you can take the appt in English. I did it for my In-Laws and they got the visa.

thank you so much for the reassurance, have been getting mixed reports of immigration officers denying re-entry, so am a little perturbed :) dont want to be stuck in a situation where i cannot re-enter :)

My wife is currently working on H1B, she was offer permanent position at the client she is working, she has to get on to EAD to take permanent position.
both my wife and myself got EAD's in Oct 07, my question is does she has to invoke AC21 to get on to EAD.
I am the primary candidate for our GC Process.

In other words, if you are planning to become a british citizen to live there, good luck. But it will not help you with US immigration.

Applied for 485/Ap/EAD on July 18th. Pending I140 was approved on Sep 14th. Checked online status the same day and LUD was 9/14.
After reading your post today, I checked the online status again and the LUD is 9/17.

It is unlikely that your husband will have a problem. As another poster said, he just needs to show that he is maintaining H-1B status. A very difficult CIS officer could take the view that he is not maintaining status if he is not being paid the prevailing wage. However, that is very unlikely. Underpaying an employee is an employer violation, not an employee violation.

That is not a problem at all. You can apply for EAD renewal as long as your AOS pending (i.e., I-485).

I was convicted of petty larceny in NY. I was convicted of disorderly conduct PENEL CODE 240.20 on 05/25/2006 in NEW YORK . The actual arraignment charges applied were 155.25.165.40.
I performed 6 days of community service. Paid some $75. After a 1 year (5-26-2007) the charges were expunged. I have disposition letter from the NY court.
When I applied for my green card in July 2006 , in the I-485 / green card file I revealed that I was charged, convicted and arrested and my charges were expunged. I got my green card in August 2007 on the bases of VAWA (Violence against women act).
Now, I have been living in Maryland for the last 3 years.(Since September 2007)
I have applied for neutralization.
I am scared that I shall not be deported or citizenship should not be denied because of my conviction which is disposed almost 4 years old.
I have no charges against me after that incident.
I am filing my tax returns every year.
Do you think I can still be denied the citizenship? Or I can be deported ?
I would appreciate your response.

The upside-down "V" shaped branches in the upper left corner are distracting, but could probably be cloned out with a bit of work in PS. The bright leaves in the upper right corner are also distracting, but a bit of burning in could probably make them stand out less. The water is blown out down at the bottom, but that's easy to excuse if you're using a P&S where you don't have much control over the exposure - or even a way to reliably gauge it until the image is on your computer monitor. Overall, the image has potential, and it shouldn't be too hard to fix most of the little issues I see with a bit of time in Photoshop. :)
