If we turn up in lower numbers - media will ignore. Rallies happen everyday in DC - and media wont bother unless numbers are huge or there is a fight or something.

Did you apply AP with your EAD ? is it a DUAL card (EAD and AP) ?
Just asking..I still did not get my EAD which was applied in july-2007 last year. I am planning to apply for AP renewal this month as I have apporved AP.

I have a question with regard to legal status:
Case - My current h1, my wife's and son's h4 status will expire within 2 months. My Green Card gets approved today, while my wife and son's stays pending. Since I have the GC, I may not be able to apply for h1 extention.
(a) What will be the status of my wife and son after the 2 month period?
They will be on Adjustment of status after h4 expiry .
(b) How will I be able to keep my wife and son in a legal status, after the 2 month period
you dont need to do anything extra. if they want to go out of country and come back instead of h4 they have to use Advance parole (AP)

guys..it is very unfortunate that you felt that im here to make sensation by creating stories out of my head..!
the qn raised afew months ago was my friend who had this profile in this community..she gave me the link of the response, and also asked me to use her profile in future as she seldom use this community herself..in my situation, when we are going through lot of stress, i did not find time to create a new profile or update the current profile...i hope its not a major crime!!
today i checked the profile page, and i did not see anything relevant information that i can add (most of it is GC application related, which im not dong). the only thing i could do is remove the state of residence of my friend!
i cannot reveal my identity or share my personal information in a public forum other than my location which is India.
My employer had filed a civil complaint, saying i have broken the contract which i signed with them that i will work with them for 18 months!
if you do not feel comfortable helping a person without knowing the identity(i dnt see anybody in this forum using their real name), it is totally fine.

I had a quick question to add to this....
If one is on F1 and his/her spouse (who is on H1B and has filed for a Green Card) ends up with a current priority date, can the person on F1 file for the Green Card along with the spouse? Or does one have to be on H4 to ride along with the H1's COS?

I was reading through a thread here where someone said that since LC substition will be banned soon and 140 will have to be applied within 45 days of labor approval else LC becomes invalid, so it would not be possible to transfer the priority date of a old LC which has I140 approved to a new LC that could be filed in another category since it would be more than 45 days since the old LC was approved. Is this true, if yes, this is the final blow to those apirants in Eb3 aspiring to transfer PD by reapplying in Perm Eb2 and transferring PD based on approved I140. Please respond with comments. I sumited my wife's & my I140 and I485 together in this July 2nd, 2007. I'm the primary applicant and in EB3 category. I already got receipt and the requesting for fingerprinting. If i file a divorce now does it going to have any effect on my processing?
this is very important.
Sad to see this friend. I dont think it affects principal candidate's processing but dependant's processing may be in trouble.

3. Both have 6 years of H1-B expiring later this year (both from different companies)
I can extend my H1-B based on pending applications.
QUESTION 1: Can my wife extend her H1-B (beyond 6th year) based on her pending I-485?
My present H1-B expires in November, but I will probably get my new H1-B renewed by June. I intend to travel in September. I don't intend to go for visa stamping and not use my AP. This is because I have a valid stamp until November.
Question: When I am at the port of entry, I will have my old H1-B valid for 2 more months and also the visa stamp valid for 2 more months, but a new H1-B I-797 is already approved. Will this cause a problem?

I travelled to India first time after coming to USA. The airline people did not take my I94 from me. I was not aware if I had to turn it in. I came back and got another I94. Now what do I do with my old I94? My 140/485 is in progress.
