I ordered my IV Texas T-Shirt (regular shipping) on Sunday and this morning I got an email which said that the T-Shirt has been shipped. I think, the T-Shirts should reach by the end of this week.

Can interfiling done for spouse. I filed 485 based on my PERM labor. Can I interfile this 485 when my wifes labor gets approved from Backlog.

Hi,
My situation is as follows:
1) approved RIR labor 2002
2) approved perm labor 2005
3) approved i-140 2006 (PD 2005)
4) ALL of above for company-A. 2006 company-B took over.
My lawyer said i cannot file and have to start again with new labor as merger/acquistion was 'asset only' type.
I want to self-file i-485 giving the company "name change" letter as the only proof along with the rest of regular documents. Company-B employer is in 100% support of my application.
SHOULD I just waste $$$$ money or take a chance ? PLEASE HELP...TIRED OF WAITING FOR LAST 5 years :(

1. File AR11 form with USCIS online, by giving the receipt numbers you can change the current address on file. Next day call USCIS 1800 # and confirm the address change.
2. If you are doing by yourself, eFILE EAD & AP - Since it is going to be your first EAD/AP you will have to attach a copy of biographical page of your passport or Driver License (DL is not mandatory) along with other supporting documents.
3. File for AR11 again, when you move again.
4. At the time applying for 485, I assume you have mentioned your current address in G325.

I had absolutely no trouble. I have travelled to India and also to Canada(by Road) and used my AP both times while my wife had GC and my kid her US passport(all different status:-)), we all went to same officer and he never asked anything on why i had different status etc

I'm very excited to say that I got my green card approved. Thank you for all of your support.
My status change will not change a bit of my support to IV. I will continue to contribute what I contribute now, until we are sucessful. I'm not successful, until everyone of you is not successful in pursuing your green card. I hope and pray that my stand will motivate non contributing friends to contribute.
Friends and folks, we did not have any organization to support ourselves. So far we had to take anything shoved upon us. But the emergence of IV changed all that. Contribute and support IV. Because IV is our voice!!!

Did you mean to say new H1B from a different sponsor? If it is the same sponsor and new H1B, what difference would that make? Since they have not provided any reason, MTR is the best option and this could be a genuine mistake from CIS.

USCIS should have all the records in their system. I guess that are refrained from asking RFEs if they can find it in their system or cross check it with other agencies.
I wish it was like that, but it amazes me how many times I have to give the exact same information to all government agencies. They have no clue or contact between each other unfortunately.
For example, why do I have to give all my information on all forms, even within USCIS? And why do I have redo my fingerprints every year? My fingers don't change.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies.
I had the camera sent to Nikon for diagnosis last week, they wrote me an email just a few days back saying my power module had problems and it needed to be replaced. I requested they return the problematic power module so I could send it to an engineer friend of mine for examination. I'll let you guys know if I find anything new.
Just 4 days ago Tantrik wrote me a message saying the same happened to him. I wonder if this is a problem with the D70 model because I've never seen Nikon equipment break so easily and I honestly did not expect to hear the same happened to someone else.
Plus, as I explained, I did nothing to cause the problem. The camera laid there for a few days and when I turned it back on it was already bad.
Total Cost for fix : U$ 300.00
Nikon USA said they'd replace the camera for me but I bought it in Brazil. The local Nikon people charged me the above fee to fix it. Down here a D70 costs between U$ 2300,00 and even U$ 4000.00 in some shops. So the fix is worth it.
If this is a structural problem with the D70 I will sell it and move to Canon. I just don't want to believe Nikon is making such disposable equipment.
The camera was not purchased from the gray market and I have a proper tax receit with it.

So, of course, they requested additional evidence. Then, I took control and wrote an essay myself (about 10 pages) proving me valuable with supporting evidence materials like awards and local newspapers, programs etc.
Was approved very soon after submitting..
So, get a good attorney (proven to know exactly that kind of stuff) and save yourself TONS of frustrations. Good luck!

Thank you flresident, I really appreciate the advice. Unfortunately the group I had been getting some help from had to cut a number of services when their funding was cut a couple months ago. All the other help and advice I've received from those quarters has either led to a dead-end or provided me with exactly the kind of conflicting advice I mentioned. Nonetheless, I do thank you for the idea.

Actually it would have been greater mess if they would have allowed to file 500 to 700k persons if that number is correct. Mainly those who are missing the bus due to marriage and other reasons would have suffered a lot. PD date movement
should be as accurate as possible or gc number should be increased. Or if they allow to file everyone then processing of application should be based on PD.

So if the dates retrogress after applying then the apps will sit on the shelves till the PD becomes current. You are stupid to think that just because a few people cannot apply, no one should be allowed to apply. There is a reason why they have to wait and you will find this kind of people all the time.
